Refund policy
Our goodwill returns policy, which is in addition to your statutory rights, entitles you to a refund or exchange for an item bought online or in store with a valid receipt within 28 days of purchase excluding sale items. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in its same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. We will not accept return of an item which is damaged, shows signs of use, is not presented in its original packaging or is not accompanied by the relevant proof of purchase. If the return is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.
Several types of goods within our store are exempt from being returned:
· Gift cards, vouchers
· Pillows, duvets, electric blankets and mattress protectors
· Some marked clearance items
· Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and delivered directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be issued and/or held in our accounts office for collection. If the item was purchased by someone to give as a gift later, then any refund will be made to the original method of payment of the item i.e. the original purchaser of the item.
Refunds/Exchanges – Damaged or Faulty Goods
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged when accompanied by receipt and/or proof of purchase. Certain electrical goods have manufacturer warranties during which time we are able to replace and/or repair the goods depending on circumstances. Any exchanged item will be classed as a replacement item of the original purchase and not a new purchase. The warranty timeframe for any item therefore runs from the date purchase of the original item and not the date that any replacement item may have been received.
These policies do not affect your statutory rights under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 and the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982
